Detox Program
A multidisciplinary team comprised of physician, psychiatrists, nurses, social workers and counselors assist in motivating patients to embrace recovery as they work to regain a healthy, meaningful lifestyle.
The detoxification program at Arms Acres is designed for patients experiencing withdrawal symptoms, including physical or psychiatric complications, associated with substance use disorders. Services include; medical evaluation, psychiatric assessment, individual and group counseling and educational groups/lectures. Arms Acres provides suboxone, methadone, and vivitrol induction, maintenance, and monitoring when clinically necessary. At the conclusion of detox, personalized aftercare planning equips patients with the tools necessary to maintain and extend progress. Patients may be transferred to Arms Acres rehab or may be discharged for transitional care on an outpatient basis.
Prior to discharge patients, their families, and often times the referent, collaborate with the treatment staff to develop aftercare plans that allow each patient continued optimization of their recovery goals.
